So the christian son of god was white blondish hair blue eyes... but since people of god are so in love with "truth" why has his looks gone to a more real version of what he would of looked like... a middle easterner? Or does the church still believe christ was a white boy?

The Bible says that Jesus had brown eyes and the color of this skin was as of burnt bronze. I don't care for any pictures of Jesus.....who cares what he looked like?....he's God almighty.

It depends, some are sticking to the traditional image (white blondish hair, etc.) Others have changed his coloring a bit to reflect a more Middle Eastern view. Kinda like what was seen in the Passion of the Christ.

The typical picture, is of a brown-haired, brown eyed Jesus except he has noticably Roman characteristics in his face (i.e. Nose) and his complection is a little light.

Though these pictures may seem completely wrong, within every race there is a broad scope of variability. Also, Jews of the time did not look like Jews now (of which most are Ashkenazi, meaning they have German influence). Jesus could have looked like the pictures today, it would have been unusual for a Jew of his time but not unknown, and anyways, nothing is impossible with God.

And what did Mary look like anyway?

Middle Easterners where Jesus was born are white, but I don't think they're blue-eyed anyway. Well, maybe the church thinks that if the picture is pretty then more people will be recruited.

"People of God are in love with the truth"... I'm happy I wasn't eating anything when you said that; my blood would have been on your hands, buddy!
