I'd say English for the simple reason, the English have occupied most of this planet at one time or another, and we have forced our language upon the world. Now it is one of the most widely used languages on the planet by many different nations, races and religions.

Everyone considers his mother language is the best one, even it is less better, but he must be certain he knows his mother language well to be able to compare. For me, I consider Arabic as the best Language for many reasons, it is literal in the same time it is used daily, It has many many words to use and used by a lot of countries, even for those who are Muslims are aiming to learn, AND We think it is the language of Heaven.

Although I don't speak Gujurati I know a little Panjabi and Hindi, so if they're similar then I'd say neither language is better but I think Gujurati script is really cool and is well better than English script!!

It's silly trying to compare languages to see which is the best.
Both are wonderful languages, but English is used by more people and has become the modern lingua franca.

English is best in England or English speaking places and Gujrati best in Gujrat or with Gujrati speaking people. What is this BEST about. They r languages for communication.
