It's hard not to think about it especially when every message around us tells us that all mothers love their children. A big part of healing from this kind of pain is recognizing that when we are children we are dependent on the adults around us to protect us from harm. It's confusing and upsetting when they don't. It's not your fault. The best you can do for yourself is to understand that some parents have problems of their own and don't really know how to cope with caring for themselves or their children. If you have access to a library, there is a good book titled "Toxic Parents" by Dr. Susan Forward. It may help explain some things for you. In the meantime, stay in school, try to focus on your studies and know that you have the ability to heal in your own time. Wishing you the very best.

I really do not understnd what you mean. Are you upset because you have a sense of guilt towards your mother or what.
Anyway at last she is your mother, she is not a friend you can easily just break up with, she is your mother man, go take to her you will never regret that , you will only regret if you let the years go. Parents are not with us forever. obey your instinct and obey God and forgive her.

OMG IT WAS NEVER YOUR FAULT! Your mom has or had, whichever, problems that she had to or has to deal with, and get help with. You were the victim, but not anymore! Now you're finishing school with the entire world at your fingertips! Sounds like you did ok. If you want to contact your mom, well, that's up to you, just remember, you don;t owe her anything, and you are your own woman now.

no it's not your fault! your mum knew what she was doing. if time has gone by and you have a second chance, take it. you might regret itlater if you don't. but this way you can find out how she has changed, and maybe you can feel comfortable in asking questions, but nothing like it was fault.

*****WAS NOT YOUR FAULT !! ******
just be glad you were given a second chance in life without abuse. and pray that your "real" mom gets help that she needs... children think it was their fault they were abused in one way or another but it was and is and never will be your fault...
