i guess if the human race wants to continue to exist, someone is going to have to have sex.

If everybody stopped doing it, yes. Human life would cease in time. It is not just a necessity to keep mankind going, though. It is extremely good at reducing stress and gives great pleasure.

We are classified into Animal Kingdom. All animals needs sex for procreation. Unfortunately, we do not stop at that and we indulge in sex whether we need it or not. Meaning, the male want to have sex but the female does not want or vice-a-versa and it is practiced not only for procreation but also for pleasure an this is where the problem starts.

For the individual, no, I don't think it is.
While most people have the innate desire to have sex, I don't think it is essential, and many people die virgins, or just have it a few times in their life.
However, if everyone stopped having sex (and having babies), then humanity would die out rather quickly. So for the continuation of a species sex is essential.

absofreakinglutely without sex lets see life would kinda be dull don't ya think, no procreation uis another point of course no sex no babies bye bye human race, but by no means should u engage in sex before ur ready, although if ur 70 not a nun and still a virgin ur probably a very cranky person although u could live but u wouldn't fuction correctly in life i would almost bet money on that .

It is real necessity. We need to have sex in order for us to reproduce. If we all stopped doing it, sooner or later, we'd all go extinct. :)

Yes it is, but within godly standards. The beauty of sex is that it was created by God. the beauty of it is also that it was created for pure pleasure and you can only have true pleasure when it is done with your LEGAL spouse. Otherwise it brings GUILT and the feeling of being dirty...
