Sounds like a Catholic thing is it just face down in submission and adoration rather than lying all the way down I looked it up and it seems like it could be ... but your position of your body wasn't your question ,huh? just the rest of us... Well during an intimate time of adoration and submission who is wanting to be aware of others , but when the time comes to look up even if you are shy, then it's a gift that costs you more to give, you could try to smile a little , you may be encouraging someone more than you know...plus who knows if God will have your future husband somewhere near and your smile looks beautiful . But if you are uncomfortable with interacting with other worshippers and you just feel the need for corporate worship without the fellowship ask God, especially if you are going through something or just getting to know God on a more personal level feel confident that He understands your every worry and care You can work on random acts of kindness like talking to widows and single mothers that the church is full of some other time or maybe never, but seriously some of these women have the most amazing stories. You have a beautiful smile.

There is a lot more behind this question! A person can do what they need to in church to worship God.
If it is a Christian church, then an equally important part is the interaction with other believers for encouragement etc. Lack of interaction with others may come from a language problem (ie you dont speak the same language as the others) or from something else. I would encourage you to begin interacting with others.

That would depend on your reasons, both for prostrating yourself and for the avoidance. The very existance of your question seems to suggest that you feel some sort of shame in one or the other.

I assume you're comfortable with your faith and dedication to it, whatever particular religion it may be, so I'm guessing its not the prostration. Thus, in terms of avoidance, it depends on WHY you're avoiding them. If you're shy or just don't know HOW to interact with them, thats a matter of personal development which should be perfectly healthy. If they scare you or you feel some sort of loathing/disgust/annoyance for them, then I'd suggest some deep reflection upon ones self.

No, unless its not a church that follows what Jesus teaches. We go to church to worship together, to have friends who we can relate to from a common ground. Ask your minister if you can prostrate yourself after everyone has left, but don't do such in front of the children, you wanna scare them to death?

U dont have to talk to anyone in church but one of the greatest points of going is to meet with and get to know other believers. If you are going to a church where people just go to feel good about going and everyone keeps to themselves then whats the point?I dont waste my time gathering with people for the sake of religion. I want relationships with good people.

Why would you lay down in church? How can you focus on what the preacher is saying? and you need to be able to fellowship with our fellow brothers and sisters in christ because we are accountable to one another, how are you supposed to grow in your faith?

I personally don't have a problem with it, BUT why would you want to. I mean everyone and the preacher is included in everyone may very well think you are sick if you do that.

What you do in church has nothing to do with anyone else around you.
