For pure unadulterated cheap fun you cant beat a good old GTS r33. Sure it doesnt have the RB26dett, or the atessa AWD, but my rb25det is just as fun. For only 450000 yen which is around $4300 I got a used GTS r33 that was already modified to put out 370hp. Regarding the GTR models, the R34 is just a bit chunky especially for these small japanese roads, but still nothing to frown upon, I'd take either.

the r33 is legal in the states, if that's a concern. And I like the looks a lot better...

prefrebly the R33, a 1995 model if ur located in aus or nz.
my uncle owns the only GTR Vspec in Burnie, Tasmania and it cost him $55K aud, expensive but the car is simply amazing-REALLY TURNS HEADS.
