Why is it that a woman can put her baby up for adoption without the father's consent, drop the baby off at the fire department or police station with no consequences, abort, or rape a man for 18 to 21 years of child support, but the only options a man has is to pay up or go to jail? And don't give me this crap about he should have wrapped up. That's the stupidest argument i've ever heard. if that's your argument , then answer me why is it a mans responsibility when he only has condoms and vasectomy while a woman has has a plethra or options.

Woman's body? that's such crap.. a woman goes through 9 months of being fat, but a man has to go through 21 years of working extra long hours, and living in lower standards than the woman he impregnated. Often thes men work in much more dangerous jobs

You are absolutely right. That is why I believe that abortions should only be available as a last resort when the child is a product of rape, incest, or if the mother's life is in danger. Parents of pregnant teenagers should be in the loop of the decision. Adoption should have a requirement of BOTH parents' consent, unless of course for rape or incest. Women should take more responsibility for birth control. I am a woman, and I am with you all the way. Draft up a petition, and I'll sign it and take it to D.C. with you.

Those options are made available to women because babies and children are being murdered or sold on the black market. The sad reality is men have the option to (1) walk away and (2) technically, can hide from the law and garnishment.
A child requires much more than financial contributions and are the losers when parents are fighting over those responsibilities. In consideration of all, nobody comes out a winner when courts have to become involved in mediating domestic problems to ensure that both parents are taking care of their responsibilities to their child.

first of all, if the father does not know the mother has put the baby up for adoption he can always get custody as he would be the legal guardian. a man can always fight for full custody and then the woman would have to pay child support or get equal custody so no one has to. and the comment about the man "should have wrapped up" is a ton of crap. it is the responsibility of both people participating. its not only the fault of the man.

the point is it's both of your responsibilities to ensure you don't have unwanted pregnancies. why are you complaining about women adopting out or aborting when you don't agree that men should have to pay for child support. answer me this. why should a man get off scot free when a woman has to deal with the consequences for '18 to 21 years' as you say?

Well, when the baby is born and the man is not in the hospital to make sure his name is on the certificate as the father, then in turn he has no rights.
If a man is scared of having a baby, it is his responsibilty to wrap it up. For his own protection, because if exactly what you described. You have to protect yourself, don't leave that in the hands of someone else.
Don't sleep with bitches who will soak you for everything you have.
If I'm raising your child and I have them 90% of the time you are going to pay and help me raise your child.
Men will not fight a woman in this situation. I have seen men just give up because it is easier and they don't want the hassle of raising a child on there own. Why would you not want to pay for your childs up bringing? Are you mad at the women so you will make your child suffer? I never understood that about men. They hate their ex but will make there child suffer to get back at her? How does that make sense?
Don't you want to give your child everything you possibly can?

I see your point, and I do think a father should play a large role in parenting, I also don't believe that abortion or adoption should be done without both parent's consent - although here's a list of things that makes a woman's life hell - all to do with having kids...
-Pain and bleeding every month for years...
-Carrying a large weight in stomach for 9 months...
-Back, leg, weight problems due to pregnancy...
-Sleepless nights with baby...
-Being thrown up on, pooed and weed on... etc etc...
While I agree with you, most men I have met don't play a huge part in their children's lives, even if they are still with the mother of their child. Maybe you are one of the men who it is worth discussing options with!

cuz its the womans body and as of right now, abortion is legal.. if she doesnt want to have a baby, she doesnt have to.. if she doesnt want to raise a baby, she doesnt have to.. however, if the parents are married, after the baby is born, the man has just as much rights about what happens to the baby as the mother does.
OOOH, and FYI, my ex husband got custody of my kid, even though we divorced because the jacka$$ wanted to be a swinger - so im paying child support, because he got to keep the house and I didnt have a home for my daughter to live in at the time.. so dont give me this crap women have all the rights.

I see your point, but.........
women are the ones who are ultimately responsible for using their body as the HOST of this PERSON (baby). If it were the man who became pregnant, he would be alot more careful about getting his rocks off. And 9 times out of 10, who cleans shitty diapers and baby puke and gets up 5 -10 times a night, who does most the work where raising the child is concerned? In my experience.........the female. 90% of the time. So she has the most to lose--and it affects her the most.

You act like aborting babies is no big deal, and like we do it every afternoon. It's a huge and sad responsibility, and women who do it blame men because quite honestly, it's usually men who initiate sex, and they should be supplying contraception (but women should as well).
