Life is about accepting and dealing with hardships as well as the goodtimes. Being sad is a part of it. Time will ease the pain as well as knowing your doggy isn't suffering.

Ahhh Geeze, I am sorry this happened.
I do not know how you can keep from being sad. It is always sad when you lose a Fur Kid.
I agree, Pugs are a very special breed of Dog, they are small, and are so full of love, but they are not for everyone. Pugs are like Children and must be raised and treated as Such. If you think it is just a Dog, please don't get a pug. They are not like your Common Variety of Dogs, they are Heat and cold Sensitive and have special needs and Many have to have special diets. I have 4 pugs and have had Pugs for 12 yrs and am still learning. But.... OH The Love they give can not be compared to anything else.
God Bless

You accept the fact that all material things have a life time - and unfortunately someday it's going to end. What you do is Cherish the moments we had together.

I had a cute Dachshund x Corker Spaniel named Jeff. Pitch black, shiny coat with a little white spot below the Nostril. He was with me for only 8 months - got run over by my neighbors van. This happened more than 8 years ago. I was sad, I even cried - but I am living with the truth and all the good memories I had with little Jeff.

The same why you deal with any loss. Time heals the heart. You must no be very old. Lossing a pet is one thing, but how about a loved one. Just remember all dogs, cats, and pets go to heaven.

I hope when we all get to the end there is a heaven for animal lovers and a hell for cruel people. I am sorry for you loss. Dogs are the greatest friends but they sure will breakk your heart. I lost mine 20 years ago and I still love that dog. Time makes it better though....

You 1 Get a new dog. 2 Do not forget him!!! You loved him, you cared for him, you don't want to forget him, it's the worst thing you can do!!! And 3 Even if you don't forget him the pain will go away.

My rottweiler/shepard mix named Abby died two years ago, from completely random deadly cancer, she was only 3. Her death is the only death I've cried over, I completely know how you feel. Getting a new dog does help, but you should definitely get a different breed. I now have two pugs, and they are so different from my old dog, but they have other amazing qualities about them, and I love them just as much as Abby.

just think about it like this, if that's the best thing for your dog then your helping your dog by letting him rest peacefully. now if your dog was living and suffering, how would you feel about that?
