I need to go to Raleigh later this week and wonder if I should go to Virginia Beach on the way or after I get there go somewhere on North Carolina Coast.
Not looking to catch anything specific just go where some action is.
Are the areas still a mess from weather?
I might also go to Falls Lake but I won't be bringing a boat. It is only10 minutes from my sisters house.

Falls Lake is producing some pretty good bass action right now as is Jordon. As far as the coast... Wrightsville was pretty good three weeks ago.... and Wilmington is pretty good right now too. The rain and unpredictable afternoon storms haven't seemed to have much affect on either on.

There's alot of pier fishing in Virginia Beach.
