Vitamin B-6. Helps a lot. OTC at Wal-Mart. Taking benedryl, like for allergies, can cause jumpy legs.

Do a search for RLS, restless leg syndrome.
There's a lot of information out there.
You have to keep trying different things because not everyone has the same triggers.
for me it was coffee. after I stopped the caffine it mostly went away.
Also daily exercise seems to help some, even if it's just a bit of walking.

Please tell your neurology department. I have it very severely. I take clonazapan. It's like atavan, but slow release. This is horrible to have when it's really bad. Cut out Caffeine. When it's bad, get up and walk and pace till it goes away.
