pond what? i agree, the insipid spoutings of a crazed ecclesiastic could never compare to the wonders of the natural world....
and this is for R J: why do self-proclaimed religious people attack atheists? aren't you taught to love thy neighbor?
and Locutus: “The minority is sometimes right; the majority always wrong.”

If everyone thought the same our world would become dull and meaningless. Personally I believe in evolution - in saying surly all things change and improve as time progresses - I do not however believe that species change, once a fish always some sort of fish, once a man always a man - and personally I just happen to believe God made man. call me what you will but knowing god makes me care more for the human race where as I only cared for myself before I found God. And if this is seen as a bad thing then people should look deeper. acceptance is the key to peace.

There's no way pond scum could evolve into all the life there is today. It's just retarded. Here's a question. Why would there be shift from asexual reproduction to sexual reproduction out of nowhere? Asexual reproduction produces perfect clones. Sexual reproduction opens the door for mistakes in evolution...Also, how did two cells perfectly mutate to form matching yet opposite parts for reproduction? Sound a bit out of the question.

I don't think this guy above me got much further than the pond stage.
I am of course refering to dragon dog. Yeah I like the reality, and there is so much more beside, especially when you pose the possibilty that some kind of god figure is the culmination of all that evolution which means that god as a concept and as a reality is evolving with us----god was made in man's image. (that'll upset the fundamentalists christians.)

Since you believe the evolution theory, then you should also believe the claims of a Russian scientist who claims that the life in the pond scum came from the emptied waste tanks from alien space ships.
In more simple terms, you are a descendant of an alien turd.

yeah it's these theories that help us better understand how organisms lived in their environments. To the asker, are you interested in this field, I guess either ecology or evolutionary biology.
Then again whats the point, these people cant accept anything we are trying to offer them.
How exactly can u get around an all powerful god how goes around murdering innocents and still call himself all powerful.
Yep all atheists love to come from pond scums, cause at least they are not born from some sicko who kills for fun. I mean at least born from scum makes people innocent. Instead of this enternal sin that makes people yell unclean unclean unclean and constantly begging and praying to a murder of for forgiveness.

I think it's pretty cool we are part of the consciousness that figured out how to go from a cosmic burb to the human form we are now. We all figured it up along the way!
