So many men I know say they prefer brunettes but I have noticed that whenever I dye my hair brown I feel pretty much invisible, men don't look twice compared to when I have blonde hair, not that I dye my hair to look good for men, I'm just interested in why men say they prefer brunettes but don't really

Did it ever occur to you that you might just look better with blonde hair?
The color of hair is not a magic trick which suddenly makes all men fall in love with you.. It really doesn't matter what is the color as long as you look gorgeous with it! and whenever u ask someone which color do they prefer, you don't mean on you right? u mean in general...and in general many men really prefer brunettes, but really it doesn't matter, when they fall in love they don't even care what the color is :)

I've always prefered blondes and never claimed to prefer brunettes. I still date brunettes, redheads and raven haired women (I make a distinction between brown and black hair).
It's probably more about the hair color being complementary to skin complexion. I think black hair can be stunning on a pale complexion, but on a brown complexion it's not rare or necessarily eye-catching.

I think that it depends on how the woman carries herself - self confidence is very attractive! I don't think it matters what colour your hair is as long as you are happy and confident then you will send out signals which will make you come across as attractive and gorgeous. I have very long curly dark brown hair and always get compliments and stares! However, there can be days that my hair is all under a cap and people still admire me because I have confidence and that goes a long way!

I Honestly speaking do not care what color a girls hair is. As long as it looks natural on them and complements them. The girls thnat go dye their hair blonde just to get guys are insecure. Girls, you all look beautiful to ure guys and you shouldnt resort to dyeing ure hair and plasic surgery just to, "fit-in". You are beautiful and when your guy comes along he will think you are the most beautiful person on earth so dont sweat it babe!

brunettes are more sophisitcated, there is a sterotype among blondes which suggests they are easy and udmb. not my words though. i like girls with a good personality but do find blondes more attractive.
