Perhaps it is because you are attempting to do these things in your own time, rather than the appropriate time. Right now all you have is a feeling. If this feeling is true, then over time it will be accompanied by a vision, and that vision will take a time of equipping, so that you will have what is necessary to carry it out.
After all, if it is destiny, then it will come about in its own time.

The Bible tells us that we all have a " For such a time as this" We need to be consistently in his Word and on our knees in prayer. You have a "feeling" because you sense the Holy Spirit in your life right now. Stay close to him by reading your Bible and praying asking God what he would have you do. He will reveal his will for your life at the appropriate time. God prepares us for his accomplishments, we just need to get out of the way, and he will work through us. With much prayer, you will do great things with the Lord working through you. Stay sensitive to the Holy Spirit. May the Lord richly bless you!

Been watching American Idol? All those thousand wannabes thought that same thing destined to become the next American Idol. Funny thing is that their belief outperform their own analytical thinking. They live to much on dream but less on reality. Fact is everyone think they are special one way or the other. I myself feel special when doin this writing because I thought I know something valuable i could share with you. However, feeling alone is not adequate. You need to do a lot of searching, trials and feedback. Don't give up on dreams but don't satisfy yourself by mere dreaming.

Strange that we sit in the same pridicament...
I started getting these dreams and visions some time ago, and I started to do things 'the righteous way' and although I'm not perfect and without sin - I still believe that God has got something going on His part of the plan, but then again... Hasn't He got a plan for all of us?
Don't know if you're christian or not but I get answers from Him all the time - no big revalations yet but I know He'll give it to me when the time is right!

I believe that every person has a destiny to fulfill. And I think every man longs to perform some act of greatness. What you are feeling is not uncommon and contrary to modern psycology it is not a bad thing. I would suggest you read John Eldredge's Book: Wild At Heart.

Just pray for guidance. And, remember, that sometimes great things......are not necessarily things that make us rich or famous.
An example......to raise a child with the teachings of our Father......is a truly great thing. I know that you are probably talking about a larger scale. But, as I said......pray your prayer for guidance.......and be wise enough to accept the direction that God leads you, and find peace in knowing that it is His way.

Maybe you are young. Maybe you will only achieve your lofty goals in your next life, and only laying the foundation in this one. Or, maybe you've done too many drugs today. Lol, no, I'm kidding about the drugs part. I feel the same way myself.
