1000 miles / 60 mph = 16 hours.
so if you're traveling by freeway and there's no traffic 16 hours..
include two small thirtry minute breaks every 4 hours
16/4 = 4 4 breaks x 30 minutes = 2 hours so so far 18 hours.
make the middle break longer say an hour. 18 and 1/2 hours.
you can do this trip by this time if you have somebody to switch drivers and make only the thirty minute stops at each four hours.
I've made big trips like this so it's very possible.

16 hours when driving at a speed of 60 miles per hour.. So less if the speed limit is higher.. And then of course you will have to stop and rest

there is not any way round it, he's were given to be interior the provider. Is the provider sufficiently huge so that you'll get a small litterbox crosswise interior the back? Do you've a towel or something to fold up so he will sense comfortable? Do you've the little nutrition and water dishes that fasten to the provider door? you'll likely might want to communicate with the vet about giving him something so he's not so disillusioned. there is something called CALMZ you could put in his water, even if the vet would have something a lot extra acceptable. the purely secure thanks to force that distance along with your cat is to have him in a provider and characteristic the provider belted in. with the aid of slope of the seats you would might want to placed something lower than it -- perhaps a e book -- so that's factor. that is critical that the cat not distract you out of your utilising. I moved from the Midwest to the West Coast with my cats and they did sing for awhile, yet calmed down later and went to sleep. each and each and every time we stopped I were given countless choruses of "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" , yet they loved our new domicile. you would attempt putting your cat provider out on the floor with the door open and throw some treats in there each and every once in awhile so the cat can associate the provider with something pleasant. attempt doing this about per week earlier you leave. good success. Cats are many times good visitors.

Well, if you rest for the night it'll take a couple days..if you drive straight through expect it to take about 24 hours if you don't have a breakdown.
