Been there, done that, got the T-shirt, gave it up and use the t-shirt as a rag for cleaning the car.
Used to do it several times a year and even met people a couple times a month, but gave it up because there are too many confused people. Not weird and scary but just people who didn't know what they really wanted.
Why, what kind of advice do you need?

Once and we still in touch. Although the kind of friendship is not a love affair I will say we've had a lot to share and a lot to inspire each other about. Since 2001 we've been in touch, yet we've never met physically.
Depending on the motive, it could be a good experience.

Um, i never do. And honestly i would say don't hook up with someone online unless you know FOR SURE that they are safe and aren't sex predators.
