If you really need to indulge this fantasy watch the movie, "Wag the Dog" or something. 9/11 happened, it was real. This question has been asked far too many times. We were stationed overseas at teh time, and if this was planned, they sure as hell didn't let any branch know anything about it, because the active duty members were all watching the wires and CNN trying to figure out what was going on. We were on lockdown on base (where we lived) our kids had snipers and posted armed guards escorting them to school for the following weeks and there were numerous "town meetings/briefings" giving the dependents up to date real information as to what was real information- wich we could get off CNN. So, if it was a cover up or conspiracy, you are going to have to contact Mulder or Scully on this one. Because what happened was an honest terrorist act. The four planes... all those who died, and lost loved ones, all real. The following patriotism and pulling together of americans also real.

9/11 happened, and I do believe that it was indeed a terrorist attack. I do believe the government allowed it to happen so it could implement changes they wanted. The planes hit the towers but the towers fell like they used controlled demolition. Also whatever hit the pentagon was going 530 mph 20 feet off the ground and was thought by many eyewitnesses to be a missile. There was also no wreckage usually associated with plane crashes. There was wreckage at the twin towers after the crash and subsequent collapse, but there was almost no foreign debris found and 747's always leave lots of debris when they crash.

I think there was definitely something going on. Why hasnt footage of the plane crashing into the Pentagon been released? And the hole in the Pentagon? (a plane does not make a perfect 360o circle). The reports of around 50 people hearing demolition-bombs in the basement of one of the WTC? (A man does not mysteriously receive bomb blast injuries microseconds after a plane hits nearly 80 floors above). The phone calls from the plane? (The cellphones worked?)

There are far too many unanswered questions for it to be so straight forward. The US Government needs to be more honest with its people, if it expects them to be so willing to trust them.
