my friends say they've never met someone who chokes as much as i do while drinking. i'd like your insight to help me figure out why.

dysphagia is the medical term for difficulty swallowing. Usually there's something that causes it, like a stroke or head injury, but it can also be weak muscles in your esophagus. You should probably talk to your MD. there are exercises that you can do to strengthen those muscles. the MD can refer you to a speeck therapist for evaluation.

Which kind of drink u are drinking? Beer or wine? If it is beer, u choke maybe coz u drink too fast. Maybe u can try to drink slower? See will there be any improvement?

)You may have a problem with your epiglottis (which covers your windpipe when you are drinking or eating). I strongly suggest you see a doctor and discuss this. It could potentially be serious.

Slow down, and get checked for a fissure in your esophagus ... your liquids may be getting into your windpipe.

check with the Doctor(throat specialist ) a sign of acid reflux, worn vocal chord.

you swallow too fast. you probably eat really quickly as well. learn to sip, not gulp liquids. thatway, you can savour the flavour.
