Don't take ginseng. He's messing with you.

The best way to solve the problem is to figure out what you're afraid of, and then confront that fear, study the fear, learn about it, and then you'll see it's silly to be afraid of that thing!

Not knowing what you're afraid of, I'd say that you could call a freind and talk to them on the phone, and that would make you not afraid any more, but probably most of your friends are asleep, and I don't even know if you have a phone. Why don't you read? Reading would help get your mind off of it until you just fall asleep from reading. Or you could listen to talk radio, and that would be interesting while you listen to it, and would keep you distracted from what you fear, and just boring enough to put you to sleep!

Really try to find out what you're scared of, though. That's important. Maybe if you tell me what you're scared of, I'll tell you why you don't need to be scared of it. Really, fear is pointless.

It's a phase you're going through which can sometimes happen at your age. I also went through a time when I was growing up when this happened to me. It's happening because you're reaching a stage when you are becoming more independent but you are still a child and this causes some psychological disturbance. Don't worry because it will pass. At some point during the daytime when you are feeling ok, talk about it with someone in your family. At night, you could play some music on your walkman for a while to help you relax, or read a book, to take your mind off your worries. There is nothing to be scared of, as you know, everyone is safe, it's just that at night things can seem out of proportion. You don't have a serious problem, it's quite normal and you will stop having these panics eventually. Take care.

Scared of what? Number 13...Please remember that there is nothing to be scared off over there. If it's devils then you got nothing to be worried off, coz there isn't anything that exists something like that or will. If there is it's only in your imagination and the more you feed fear or fright into your mind, the worse it can get. It's all in the mind... and if you are still scared, try turning on a bulb with low wattage in the night or perhaps stick some glow stars or planets on your ceiling whcih will give a cosmic look. And mind you this wards of the so-called evil spirits. Look at the stars, look how they shine for you....

Have you recently relocated, had a death in your family, or have you experienced the loss from your home of someone you love?

My parents divorced when I was 5, and I began to have claustrophobic nightmares; my mother would find me in the closet or crouched into a corner. At the age of 10-13 we moved around alot, and I began to sleepwalk ( I had no memory of the events ). I was sent ot the school counselor who asked me the same three questions I asked you. Listen to music you like very quietly, leave a small light on, like the closet light, and talk to someone oyu trust about your fears. These fears are actually quite common at your age, and I would wager $100 that some of your peers are experiencing similar anxieties. It's a time in your life where you're undergoing a lot of changes and the future is uncertain.

So what exactly is the problem? That you get frightened?

If so, it's normal. Keep god in your thoughts always. Ask to sleep in the same room as a family member, until you adjust.

If there is a bigger problem, I will be more than happy to talk to you personally. I am a 18 yr old female. I'll be on yahoo messenger, or on AIM=biulrotvoen.

:D

Believe it or not at 13 a female child is far more mature than a 13 y/o male child. Girls can start having stress, worries about the world and what she does or looks like. You need something to make your mind relax like the bible or this little rhyme:-

Go placidly amid the noise and haste,

and remember what peace there may be in silence.

As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others,

even to the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexations to the spirit.

If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter,

for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Keep interested in your own career, however humble,

it's a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery.

But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;

many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself.

Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love;

for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment,

it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years,

gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.

But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.

Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars;

you have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you,

no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive him to be.

And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life,

keep peace in your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.

Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

I fear for you. You are safe with your family! Sleeps with lots of blankets, pillows & a big soft teddy bear. Run a fan to draw out any noises, point it away from you so you don't catch a cold & put a pillow over your head to eliminate noises, don't eat a big meal before bed, or caffeine. Drink a glass of milk w/ a snack. Works everytime, it will put you to sleep. Good luck!

Let me guess, you belong to an evangelical church, with their ranting about hell and damnation, and so many sins.I don't blame you for being scared, but you really should read the bible, starting at genesis and find out exactly what God wants of you, which is much different than what your preacher says. When ever you are scared, pick up your bible, and read psalms. David's thoughts may be able to help you calm down.
