I cant think of a place where I should take my girlfriend

That really depends on where you are. Insofar as local places go, no one can determine that but you. Also, the answer depends upon whether you're taking her out for the first time, for an especially romantic date, or you just want to go out and have a blast.
If you like to be active, consider taking her to a dance club, or maybe a concert, where you can be close to her and still have the benefit of entertainment.
If you prefer a quiet environment, consider taking her to the ocean, a lake, or similar body of water where it would be easy to converse and gain a deeper understanding of one another.

It really depends on what you two like. You could take her to a play, a concert, a movie, a beach, a theme park, a fancy dinner, a mall, a forest with hiking trails. You could take her horseback riding, boating, swimming.
I'm sure there's more but I'm to tired to think of any more.

Take her some where she hasn't seen, heard of, or been. It will give her memories and she will always look foward to going somewhere with you because its adventureous. Think of things or hobbies that you both enjoy, research, and get there. Also do it when shes bored with nothing to do. She'll be so grateful!!!!!

You should take her to an amusement park and take all the rides, I think that would be more fun for both of you.
