I lost about 20 lbs within 2 months by running at a track (I didnt change my eating habits either). I had never ran before, and the first time I did I thought I was gonna die! LOL I ran 1 lap (1/4 mile) without stopping and I was so out of breath that I started coughing!! I said "I cant do this anymore!" then a few days later I went back & ran again 1 lap, but this time I wasnt as out of breath as the time before. Then the next time I went I ran 2 laps without stopping. Then I steadily got up to running 3 miles non-stop about 1 & 1/2 months later and I wasnt even out of breath at all! I just basically got bored of running, but I coudve run another mile if I wanted.

you would be amazed at how fast your body adjusts to running and it feels so good after you run. there is such thing as a "runners high". it is a great feeling! good luck!

I'd say walking except you want something you can do indoors. So any exercise like crunches, jumping jacks or running in place that gets your heart rate up will work. Maybe rent an exercise video. Good luck!

WEIGHT LOSS

To loose weight: eat a balanced diet, eat less, and exercise more.
To keep the weight off, you should lose about 1 pound per week.
Spot reducing (e.g. from waist or thighs) does not work.
