Some theme ideas:
"Hell" wedding -- everything red and wicked
"Halloween" wedding -- camp it up with Halloween costumes and food that look like body parts
"Wedding Massacre" -- where it looks like a normal wedding, expect that everyone looks like they just got killed
"Gothic Garden Party" -- for a daytime wedding, have a proper British garden party, but use deep colors for a color scheme.
"Midnight" wedding -- get married at the stroke of midnight, everyone wears glowing white for an ethereal feel.
Other ideas:
Use pumpkins to decorate -- even in flower arrangements
have the bride wear a darker color -- purple, red, and black look good on just about everyone
Red food -- red food coloring can be used in just about everything
Pomegranates & Blood Oranges -- use these otherworldly fruits as a focal point of your meals.
I'm currently writing a book on gothic weddings, so if you want any more advice, feel free to e-mail me.

If you contact a church with a cemetary they may let you hold it in or right in front of their cemetery. You'll want to do it at night of course. I would say if the bride want to wear white go for it, but get more of a victorian style dress. Add touches of black to it if you wish. A wide ribbon around the waist, black gloves that extend past the elbow. Black netting for a veil. Try using dried flowers, they are most of the time cheaper and look dead. I once saw a wedding where the officiant rose from a coffin. Its cheesy but effective. I would change the vows. Instead of till death do we part to till death do we meet again. If you can get recorded music of a harpsichord playing the wedding march and stuff that sounds really creepy and Addam's Family-ish. Alright, I'm about out. Good luck and congrats!

Maybe try booking a gothic style church in your area, or a historical mansion or estate. Colors like rich burgandy, black, red, and lots of candles could add to the atmosphere. Remember, a wedding like this CAN be pulled off quite nicely and elegantly, and will be very unique for you and your guests. Just don't do anything that is too overdone, cliche, or tacky. Man if only I could be your wedding planner, I have so many ideas for you.
Rich fabrics like velvet, silk, red roses, twigy branches in the floral arrangments, possibly a fog machine during the reception (with appropriate lighting), candelabras, chandeliers,...

I was thinking along the lines of maybe a graveyard, I'm not being rude by saying so. There's something peaceful and beautiful about a graveyard at night. I'd look up old wedding/handfasting customs. See if you could find any ideas to make your own. What a perfect time for a wedding ^.^ Congrats!

Wear black (including the bride) with death-white makeup and make the wedding at midnight in a graveyard with dim lamps lighting the way. Have blood-red wine served by waiters dressed as vampires. Be sure to have a stake and a silver cross handy just in case and decorate the graveyard with garlands of garlic. Good enough?

There are flowers like Queen of Night’, ‘Black Diamond’ and ‘Black Parrot’ tulips, which are very deep purple. You can also check out Black Rose floral (sendblackroses.com) for inspiration. There are "black" roses that are actually very dark reds like Black Baccara roses. There are also black orchids you can use as well. Another option is dried flowers.
Another direction you can go in is incorporating Day of the Dead or Dia De Los Muertos. It is a little more festive and you can go with mexican/spanish food
I think the spookiest metal accent is pewter, so you can go with a pewter wedding goblets and give gothic pewter to your wedding party (like a dagger) as thank you gifts.
You can have a blackwedding cake with a pewter cake top (skulls?) with black flowers. Another option is a cake top with crows on it (see below for pictures).
The wedding dress can be black corseted victorian or medieval dress with black lace. The groom can wear a black victorian frock coat, top hat, and black leather pants. You are going for the look of two cultured vampires from the 19th century or beyond. Check out gothic beauty magazine pack two, which seems to have issues dealing with gowns.
A get-away car can be a funeral car. Black invitations with grey lettering with either a crow, skull, or celtic cross motif. What you can do is have a motif of two skulls and a rose. Then you can have black tablecloths, silver skull candles and roses for your reception. You can also add deep blood red candles to the table arrangement.
You can play goth music like Dead Can Dance or opera/requiems.
Your food can include roast beef, roast pig, sausages, red wine, red potatoes, rustic breads, and pumpkin, plum, carrots and sweet potato dishes.
You can also request to wear black or dark clothing.
I have included links to handfasting rituals that would fit the theme.

Why not use Halloween as the theme. Have all of your friends attending dress up in costumes. The husband and wife can dress either way. At the reception have it decorated as a haunted house. Have web, spiders, etc. You can even make orange colored drinks.(alcohol or not) Have your cake blood red velvet. I think you could be a lot of fun. Your first dance could even be to the monster mash.

well why don't you have it at night time and you and the bride can wear black and you could get all the people to wear black and get a fog machine for when the bride walks down the ile and you could get fake spiders and webs and put em around the place and you could make it all spooky.

I think that you should make it mandatory that your guest where dark (black) colors. If you get the theme right the guest would throw it off by wearing the traditional bright colors to weddings.
