Depending on where you live --- English, Spanish, and possibly an Asian language such as Japanese or Korean

If you live in the US, then the best secondary language to learn (other than English) would be Spanish. It would be the most helpful for youself and could possible help with advancement in your career.

Russian , and i know it !
English, French, Italian... all comes from the Latin language this is why they are similar , i learned French in school, while English and Italian , i was able to learn them at home , because they are similar to French.
While Russian is a Slave language it doesn't have any common background with the listed languages.

ENGLISH is the most spoken language in the world.
but if you live in say, California, it is good to know spanish as well, because there are so many mexicans

Depends on where ya live... if you live in the West.... Spanish or Portugese.. there both about the same.... otherwise... French.....
But English is the best, overall, to know...

Spanish because it is spoken in over 30 countries (i think) worldwide!

Also it is a great launguage! ¡Español es una bonita lengua! Se puede hablar Español en todo el mundo.
