If there are going to be ring barrers (young children) in the wedding ceremony, who actually gives the groom the ring-when it's time? the best man or the ring barrers?

A lot of people tie fake rings onto the ring bearer's pillow because the children are usually young. The best man & maid of honor hang onto the rings until go-time. This is the way a lot of people are doing it nowadays. If you want to go really traditional, the ring bearer would bring them up to the altar and give them to the best man. That's how I've seen it done. You could also ask the officiant/priest/whatever how they would like it done.

The best man gives them. The ring bearer has fake ones on his pillow. I had an older ring bearer who I wanted to make feel special. I tied the rings onto the pillow and had the best man remove them at the alter.
