I'm pretty sure its just different interpretation of the same text.
Muslims do not beleive Jesus to be the son of god. But they do see him as a prophet sent by god to spread his word.
Jesus was a Jew I think thats pretty well documented.
I think the main difference between Christian Jesus and Muslim Jesus is the new testament.
If I'm wrong please let me know, it's in no ones interest to be ignorant!

No, Jesus wasn't a Muslim. He was a Nazarene. His father was Joseph of Arimathea. Arimathea is the land where some texts in the Bible originate in their language, Aramaic. Aramaic, eventually, turned into Arab, but that doesn't mean that Jesus was a Muslim. He was a Hebrew Jew. Also, it would be wrong to claim Jesus as anything other than what He is, and that is as a part of God. So take it as you will, but I don't believe that Muslims were right on that point.

the old testament branched.... a branch from Abraham gave rise to the ancestors of Mohamad.
A branch from Abraham stayed the way it was until Jesus was born.
Then Jesus , revolted agaisnt the laws imposed by the Jewish priest which they said was Gods rules ( i am not even talking about the 10 commandments , believe me , there were some very oppressive rules then)
and that made jesus an out law and thus was executed in the manner right for that time.
So is Jesus a christian?
we called his work, christianity
. WE called Abraham a Jew
we called the religion founded my Moahammad ...Muslim
no, Jesus is not a Muslim.... one has to enter it before one is.He is from the same roots ( Adam and Eve ) but religions are just names assigned by men.If it was so, then we can call the muslims ...JEWS

The Jews say he was a Jew.
To Muslims, 'Muslim' means 'one who submits (to the Word of God). The interpretation is that all prophets received divine inspiration, but Jews and Christians have changed their messages. They believe that Muhammad was finishing the work begun by Abraham and continued through all of the Prophets. They believe that all of the Prophets are Muslim and that when Jesus comes back to fight the Dajjal (anti-Christ), he will do so in the name of Islam.

Not likely since Jesus existed around 1-34 AD and Muslims didn't exist until 800 AD (750 years after the bible).

Muslim theology actually states that all people are born Muslim, but are led astray by their parents, teachers and other adults. This is one of the reasons that the Janjaweed in Sudan and Somalia kidnap the children, so that they can be raised Muslim.
It is also the reason that many Muslim men marry Western women, then take the children to be raised in their original country.

Based on what? Christ was born a Jew, raised a Jew, taught as a Jew, died a Jew so labeled by Pontius Pilate. How is this ever in contention? Almost a thousand years later Muhammad was born who is the Muslims' greatest prophet-leader-teacher. Islam was born of the descendants of Abraham through Essau, the son of Abraham who did not follow the faith lifestyle handed down to the Jews thousands of years before Christ. What claim do the Muslims have to Christ as their prophet? unless they accept Christ as their Savior they have no link to the prophecies of Christ. This is made abundantly clear in the fact that they do not accept Christ's teachings for peace among the gentiles or self sacrifice for the purpose of conversion or of Christ's claim to divinity. No, this is not true though the Muslims do claim Christ as one of their prophets, they say that the Bible is corrupted and therefore worthless. Again, no basis in historical fact or theological principal.

Look. To most people who aren't Muslims, this statement is quite strange. What we mean is that Jesus was a prophet of God, to send the message of the religion from God to his people. Now, this religion has become Islam, completed by the revelation of the Koran. So yes, we do say it.

I know I know, me telling you guys for the millionth time the same thing is just like talking to a wall but let me try again.
Muslim means "A person who submits his will to God Almighty"
Now no matter what religion are you from, you will still agree that Jesus submitted his will to God Almighty.
Some people are too dumb to either learn another language or even bother searching before they post a "yes" or "no" answer.
