How did Jesus realize he was the one true son of God?
I'm sure he wasn't born with the knowledge or else he would have begun his teachings a lot earlier in his life.
Does it have to do with a burning bush? I seem to remember a story involving that. Not sure if it has anything to di with it though.

There are 2 forces at war and neither will give up. Jesus was stuck in the middle and had to choice a side. Jesus picked the both sides. Half in and Half out its the only way to live. Its the same way you realized.

When he found out that we are living in a multitude, with no guidance at all but of only of the living god that the Romans have been worshiping!
Desperation is a sure thing of the past who only collect taxes for their graft and corruption that also killed Julius Caesar!!!
Moses has something about the burning bush but Jesus has something to do with the withered plant at his command!

Jesus made no proclamation that he was a son nor a god himself but the jews who prosecuted him didn't understand what did he mean to say, and so the 12 disciples including the christians. It was St. Peter who made him so during the time of Constantine the Great at Nicaea.
Why not come to other religion so you would ask such questions?

He did not have to realize because he WAS God. John 1:1 says that God was the Word and was With the Word.
That is the Trinity, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit all as one

If I recall right it was when he was babtized and the heavens opened up and he heard a loud voice say "this is my son ....whom I have approved"
