There's the Hotel Ramada Inn Hollywood which is cheap and close to the Universal Studios theme park.

The best hotels are by the Aiport, Any INNs. They are central to everything and close to freeways, Example, 405 gets you to Six Flags and the 105 can get you to Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm
