Upstate? HAHAHAHA, that's where us Manhattan folk invade during long weekends. We head up there to enjoy our cottages, summer homes, and villas. Anything north of Manhattan on the NYS Thruway is considered Upstate!

Define upstate.

I live an hour north of NYC, and some call that upstate. To me, upstate is anything beyond Albany and Binghamton.

I lived in Buffalo last year.
I really miss it- the people there are really nice, the city is pretty, and there's alot of hiking and stuff to do. I REALLY liked the food in Buffalo!!
The economy sucks, though, so I moved.
