INGREDIENTS:
1 medium head cabbage, shredded
1 large red onion, diced
1 cup grated carrots
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 cup white sugar
1 cup white vinegar
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon dry mustard
black pepper to taste
Step by Step
In a large bowl, combine cabbage, onion, carrots, and celery. Sprinkle with 1 cup sugar, and mix well. In a small saucepan, combine vinegar, oil, salt, dry mustard, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Pour hot dressing over cabbage mixture, and mix well.
2) Apple Coleslaw
INGREDIENTS:
4 cups shredded cabbage
1 cup shredded carrot
1 Granny Smith apple - peeled, cored and coarsely shredded
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons white vinegar
1 tablespoon pineapple juice (optional)
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 dash salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Step by Step
Place the shredded cabbage and carrot together in a bowl with the sliced apple, and toss to combine. In a separate bowl, stir together the honey, brown sugar, vinegar, pineapple juice, and mayonnaise until the honey and sugar have dissolved completely. Pour over the salad, and toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper, and toss again. Cover and chill until ready to serve.

TOSSED SPINACH SALAD
1 pound fresh spinach, torn in pieces
4 boiled eggs, sliced
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms
DRESSING:
1 cup salad oil
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup ketchup
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 medium onion, grated
Mix dressing ingredients and refrigerate. Combine salad ingredients, saving a few egg and mushrooms slices to arrange on top. For a wilted salad, pour dressing on and toss before serving. For a crisp salad, leave dressing off and pass for individual serving.

Spicy Asian Shrimp Salad
Preparation time: 15 mins
Total time: 15 mins
Makes: 4 servings
6 cups shredded napa cabbage or romaine lettuce
2 cups (about 6 oz.) pea pods
1 can (15 oz.) baby corn, drained
1/2 lb. cleaned medium shrimp, cooked
1 red pepper, cut into thin strips
1/2 cup KRAFT LIGHT DONE RIGHT! CATALINA Reduced Fat Dressing
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
TOSS cabbage, pea pods, shrimp, red pepper and corn in large bowl.
MIX dressing, soy sauce and hot pepper sauce. Add to cabbage mixture; toss lightly.
Substitute
Substitute 2 boneless skinless chicken breast halves, cooked, cut into thin strips, for cooked shrimp.
Substitute 1 cup frozen whole kernel corn, thawed, for canned baby corn.

Banana Tomato Salad
=================
Ingredients:
2 bananas ripe & firm
2 tomatoes ripe and firm
1/2 lemon juice extracted
1 tbsp. coriander leaves finely chopped
salt to taste
1/2 tsp. crushed cumin seeds
2-3 pinches garam masala powder
1 tsp. sugar powdered
Method:
1-Chill bananas and tomatoes before chopping.
2-Chop bananas, tomatoes into pieces separately.
3-Sprinkle lemon juice over bananas and toss to coat evenly.
4-Add to tomatoes.
5-Add all other ingredients, toss till well mixed.
Serve immediately.

crumb and spice then cook some chicken breasts in bite size pieces,,rip up all types of lettuce chop some red and green caspicium ,add cherry tomatoes, capers,cucumber some peanuts then drizzle with a bit of olive oil mixed with vinegar and some of teh caper juice from the jar.
