If a guy who thinks that buying a rose is a waste as it will die in 3 days, and he will buy other things instead of a rose, do u think he is caring and sweet and romantic?

In fact, Rose has a special place in my heart. Till now i have only received 1 rose from my 1st love.. And at that time i have to bring it home secretly and put it as fresh as it is into a book.. Shameful right? Cannot even place a rose as normal people.

Well, my husband thinks that flowers fade in 3 days so it's better to get me something else. But he does get me other sweet and romantic gifts instead. So yes a guy can still be caring and sweet even if he did not get you roses.

Sweet maybe...but lover?? Give her the rose, but in a romantic setting...it makes all the difference! Ambiance, atmosphere....we ladies want our men to "prove" themselves besides in the bedroom! We want that "knight in shining armour!" It is a sweet gesture though, just go the extra mile !

I dun think so. To me it is a waste of money as it is always expensive during valentine's day. Furhtermore I am not the romantic type of guy who do all these things.

NOT-A-LADY,BUT If u havent been together for a long time then it is a very sweet gesture but if the relationship is old than it should be much more expensive and special

No.

Roses are so vanilla.

I would think he's caring, sweet and romantic if he bought me something else.

A gift is a gift. If you're picky about a gift, it's not really meaningful now, is it?
