How does fart make such a hideous odor to deal with? How come it smells so bad?

Something must of crawled up your butt and died. Mine smell like freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.

Fart is a gas generated by decomposition of processed food, as done by intestinal bacteria. There are nerely 400 different types that reside in guts. Lactobasillus Acidophyllus is maximum dominant there. Now depending on whether digestion is cmplete or not, strength of liver bile, food protein content, fat content, the incompletely digested food gets decomposed by bacteria. The gases generated as a result in fart. If food contained sulphur yu get worst smelling. Sulphur rich foods are meat, eggs, onion etc Protein rich foods too give strong smelling farts. Carbohydrates, fruits, curd, yougurt, vegetables, especially leafy ones will try to reduce the smell, since digestion is better. If poop is not eliminated at right time, then decomposition takes place and then too fart is the result.
If you wish to avoid farting visit toilet and clean bowels as soon as first fart is heard/smelled.
In farts, healthiest is what creates sound. It is only air gulped down while swallowing food. One which causes no sound, no smell but gets released with lot of pressure/push is bad. Worst is what does not cause sound and causes smell, which requires you to start the fan or run out of room to take care.
THis is modern science of fart! Sorry if it was long.
By the way, if methane gets generated, all such people can accumulate it in a gas bottle to use as cooking gas. Some national economy.

This gas is the one formed by bacteria in your intestines. When bacteria acts on organic matter, many gases are formed. Most notably Hydrogen Sulphide gas, nitrous gases and carbon mono oxide. They together smell very bad. Just like rotten egg, which also has hydrogen sulphide gas formed in it.

I can't believe I am answering this. It is not called gas for no reason. You are expelling actual gas produced by the digestive process.
