first of all, she should know about you. second, she will always want a family with him-even if she hates him-because her first priority is her child. I think you need to ask him to tell her about you and if he doesn't, then he still wants to keep her as back up. If he does, then you will feel more confident in his love for you and what she says wont matter. If it still bothers you then talk to her and tell her how you feel about your man.

I know a girl who broke up with her guy of 3 years just because of this reason. Mama's Boy kind of guys can be really terrible in the long run. I would suggest that you ask him to make his choice because if at a later stage he turns back to his mama what will you be left with. He says he doesn't listen to his mama now because he probably is too infatuated with you but life is not a bed of flowers. There may be occasions when your relationship goes into bad weather. MAMA's boy kind of guys generally tend to turn towards their mothers and the mothers tell him "Look I told you about her". Instead improving upon the situation between you two. SO JUST MOVE ON.

Dump Him. You are gonna have many more relationships I am sure and you don't need all this baggage. You will never be sure if he is still hitting that or not either so why put yourself through that.

Go up to his mom and explain...but be courteous and nice...plan it out before and have a convincing speech that you think after she hears, will approve.

Good luck.

Give him time to grow up and come out of his mom's shadow.
