She has to have liquids. Pedialyte would be better...1 teaspoon every 5 or 10 minutes. that amount doesn't seem to make them vomit, but is alot of work.
I hope she is under the vet's care. if you are giving her fluids under the skin, then you don't need to worry about forcing other liquids.

Pedialyte is the best thing to give her. She will only vomit water which will in turn cause her to become more dehydrated. She needs an IV and should be at a veterinarians. Parvo is untreatable/incurable, however, you can treat the symptoms and the dog will often live. If you wait to get help your dog will die 99.9% of the time and in a horrible painful way. Please do the right thing and get her to a vet, she is worth it not matter what the cost.

Edit: once a dog has immunity to Parvo they can't catch it again. You should clean though to keep the disease from spreading to your friends, neighbors, and other people as the virus can live dormant for up to 10 years.

I'm sorry to say but most puppies that get parvo usually die. I don't think it's a good thing to force anything on her. Her stomach is really upset right now and she will just end up vomiting anyway which will make her cramp even more. About the only thing to do right now is make an appt. with your vet but remember there are never any guarantees with parvo that an animal will live. My friend bought a lab for her boyfriend and spent a total of $865 dollars on trying to get it well when he got parvo and he died. She was heartbroken. I wish you the best. Just comfort her. If by any chance she lives remember to spray everything down with bleach afterwards because parvo bacteria lingers and she could catch it again very easy. Wish you the best.

If your dog has parvo it needs intravenous fluid therapy from your vet. Dogs with parvo don't have an intact gastrointestinal tract so she won't be absorbing adequately from her GIT.
Take her to a vet ASAP have them run a parvo kit (there are a few diseases that present a similar way) and have her treated. If she does have parvo it is the only way she will pull through.

The vet CAN SAVE the dog if you get it to him NOW. YOU CANNOT do anything to save this dog, and letting it suffer the way they suffer with this virus is an awful way to die. GET it to the vet to at least give the dog a chance to live if you love this dog. The dog has to be fed through ivs and put on antibiotics to cure this deadly virus. The virus kills an untreated dog within 3 days. They die of severe dehydration. You should of had the dogs shots already. Dogs with parvo does not always die, only if you wait to long to get it to the vet to be treated. Worms often have the same symptoms as parvo and can kill your dog within hours just like parvo. IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG DO NOT TREAT YOURSELF, GET IT TO THE VET.

The inflation, unemployment and falling value of dollar are the main concern for our Government but authorities are just sleeping, they don’t want to face the fact. Media is also involve in it, they are force to stop showing the real economic situation to the people. I start getting more concern about my future as well as my family after watching the response of our Government for the people that affected by hurricane Katrina.

According to recent studies made by World Bank, the coming crisis will be far worse than initially predicted. So if you're already preparing for the crisis (or haven't started yet) make sure you watch this video at http://www.familysurvival.tv and discover the 4 BIG issues you'll have to deal with when the crisis hits, and how to solve them fast (before the disaster strikes your town!) without spending $1,000s on overrated items and useless survival books.

NO!! All this does is make her nauseated and causes her to vomit . Every time that she vomits, she loses more liquids than you can put in. That is why when an animal is hospitalized for parvo, we ONLY give IV fluids. WAIT 24 hours after vomiting has stopped and then try VERY small amounts of water. If you can't afford IV fluids with hospitalization, she has less chance of survival.
Next time, get the vaccines!!!!!!

Unless things have changed since my dog had parvo, there's no cure and you might as well have the animal put down now before it suffers like mine did!
I'm sorry!
