Get some Doans backache pills or ibuprofen (something that is an anti-inflammatory) soak in a hot tub of water or let the shower run on your back, (hot water is a natural muscle relaxer), then put ice on it if you have any swelling, then rub some aspercream or something like it on your back and take it easy. Hope this helps.

Why does your back hurt and where, upper or lower? How long has it hurt?

If it is a ver recent injury, use ice packs, if it is over a day, use heat.

If it is the lower back, lay flat and bring your knees up as high as you can with pillows to raise your legs.

More info is needed to give you the best answer.

I'm actually on here because of hurting my back. Nothing else to do. And I don't even work a physical job(but very physical person... sports, excercising). Heat pack(to relax the muscles) or Cold pack(to get down swelling).

Put a bottle filled with warm water behind your back and then wrap it with a warm blanket. Warmth makes the muscles relax and will ease your pain. You can also take an Advil or Panadol.
Hope it helps.

Gte on all fours, make sure your hands are lined up with your shoulders, and your hips and knees are lined up, and arch your back. It helps for me sometimes.
