There are pain drops that Bausch and Lomb make that will relieve the pain. However, you will have to get a prescription. Until you can have a doctor write one, you may want to try Tylenol and Advil mixed together. You can take them together, and they don't have adverse reactions to each other. It may help some until you get the drops. Also, if it's an ear infection, it may not go away until you take antibiotics. Some infections will go away on their own, some won't.

Do you have an ear infection? If so get some garlic gel caps
the ones you get in the health food section...squeeze the liquid
into the offending ear and lie on the opposite side( trust me
I am not crazy )...the infection
should be gone in a day or two, to numb the pain until then
there is an eardrop made by Hylands that numbs the ear
and is made of 100% organic ingredients. The garlic works
it has for me and my daughter everytime!

Very simple home remedy
Take 2 tsp cooking oil in a vessel and put vessel on low fire. Put 2 pearls of garlic in the oil. when garlic turns golden brown or chocolate color, remove from fire. when look warm, put 1 tsp in the aching ear, put cotton and sleep on other side, so that oil wil remain in the ear whole night. If you suspect any infection, add 2 pinches of turmeric powder to oil before adding garlic.

warm up a dropper full of olive oil till it feels nice to the touch and then put it in your ear, put in some cotton to keep the oil inside, If this doesnt help in a day or so you have a real infection and need antibiotics.
