I want to be able to get in touch with the divination I would have thats hidden within me does anyone know how I can go about doing this?

If your aim is to develop a true Communion with God, here is what you may want to try. But if your objectives is just gaining the powers that come along with, then you may not reach where you want to.
1.Have deep devotion and faith for the Almighty
2.Search constantly within through meditating everyday, unceasingly in the name of God.
3.Have deep love & compassion for everything around you
4.Be detached from outcomes & know that what we perceive with our 5 senses is not reality
5.Take responsibility for all incidents in your life because they have been call forth consciously or unconsciously by you.
Remember ...illumination can strike any time out of nowhere.

You have to become more subtle to experience things that are very subtle.
Don't hurt anyone else's feelings.
Become a vegetarian and hurt no living beings.
Don't drink or use drugs.
Practice celibacy / self control / eliminate fried and fatty foods / dirty jokes.
Wake up before the sunrise, and contemplate on God's glory.
Sincerely try to love all others and you will gain their positive force wilingly.
These are proven methods, and I'm sure you don't like the sound of any of them. The best psychics lead exemplary lives, they're not arogant loudmouths.
Do what you want, but these things work. The good thing to know is that even if you do one of these things, you will make yourself a better person, and the others will follow on their own.
It's a lifetime of work, and one can't expect change overnight, but believe me, put in even a puny effort into these things, and you will transform into someone you'll like!

Well...divining is to tell the future...right? So does it run in your family...usually this runs through the women unless they refuse it or are unavailable...I've always had it...I'm so glad to have the blood of Jesus covering and protecting me now...I didn't like waking up at 1 or 2 in the AM and mistaking a stretched out german shepherd for a dead man in my living room... and then learning that a close family member had been arrested for murder the next days following. There is no glory in knowing a thing beforehand... for you...just end up chasing a chimera... you might notice the lives of people that are chasing their tails with this as their life's work...more often than not their own personal lives are trashed in relation to their children or mate...but they are too caught up in trying to know the future to devote their heart to the PRESENT... you know, the GIFTof today and one friend I have honestly could have had two PhD's by now if only she had devoted her life to a worthwhile study... but as she seeks love in one alcoholic after another and is painfully unfulfilled I thank God that He showed me that the meaning of the Greek word mystery-mysterium is "that which has been revealed" not something that is hidden and that you have to be really special to find...read the book of John ,it is the book of the divinity of Jesus, then you can dicover the mystery of the ages..."This mystery has been kept in the dark for a long time, but now it's out in the open.God wanted everyone not just Jews,to know this rich and glorious secret inside and out,regardless of their background,regardless of their religious standing,the mystery in a nutshell is just this: Christ is in you,therefore you can look forward to sharing in God's glory." Colossians1:26&27 the message version... I guess maybe this would be the divine that's in you pray and ask God to show you if everything I am telling you is true...Then read your Bible expecting an answer...He answered me when I answered this same challenge years ago in a youth hostel in Amsterdam Alone...just myself and God... He answered me in an awesome way.

This can be accomplished by a number of ways. Meditation being the easiest. Try going out into a quiet place in nature for a while and doing different meditations to help clear you mind of the everyday worries and clutter. Also try different psychic exercises like visualization and crystal gazing to help open your "Third Eye" Chakra.
All it takes is practice but just about anyone with an open mind can get it.

Please look into the books The Voice of God by Cindy Jacobs and The Seer by Jim W. Goll. The Gifts of the Holy Spirit is what you are looking for which could be any of the following: the gift of tongues, the gift of prophecy and visions... etc.
It would also help to find a local person who is not affiliated too closely with one church as most Christians who have the gifts are not really religious. Pray for guidance and keep your spirit open to His voice. :)

Hi Mike, meditation is great for this, also acupuncture and yoga can help open up the third eye.
