It should be served at the temperature that the drinker prefers it served as. There is no correct "geek" answer to this unless a person is truly uptight and regimental. I prefer is chilled as I find at warmer temperatures there are some tastes I don not appreciate but at warmer temperatures there are many more tastes. If it is too cold it loses out on some nice complexities -especially if you have used fruits or herbs with the recipe.

Mead is best at cellar temperature 54Centigrade,or a little above.

Slightly chilled, like beer. That's how I prefer to drink it, anyway. I usually keep the bottle in the fridge.

I prefer it chilled, personally.
Around 45F.

I know that around holiday-time it can be served warmed and spiced, kind of like a mulled cider...but I still like it better chilled.

i hope you mean meat...well meat should always be fully cooked and not left out in room tempreature for more than 20 mins...after 20 mins bacteria will grow on it....if you put it in the fridge to cool it down make sure you reheat it...you want the meat to be cook...and not be so raw that it could still say 'moo'
