For one thing he does not always have blond hair and blue eyes. In the Mediterranean he has brown hair and brown eyes. As to being white. Well he was born in Palestine in the middle east which is inhabited by Semites and Semites are white. They might have a sun tan but they are definitely WHITE. Just for your info there are other colour Jesus around the world including black as well as a black Madonna.

He wasn't raised in the desert and even if he was that doesn't turn someone who is blue eyed and blond into a different color.
That being said he wasn't blue eyed and blond. He probably had middle eastern complexion. Brown hair and eyes and tan skin. I rarely see any depictions of him as blond and blue eyed. Ive seen him depicted as being of African descent as well thats not correct either.

The truth as bizarre as it may be; the image of Jesus that we know of today was chosen in a sort of contest held to see who could come up with the best physical representation. Apparently letters were sent out to many artist world wide. The artist chosen had drawn a picture of his homosexual partner.
If you go by were he grew up his skin color should be a tan brown his hair should be dark to light brown with light blond highlights do to the harsh desert sun. his build do to the carpentry should be muscular, his hands extremely rough. his eye color should be a light brown. he definitely was not white, and there's no way you would find a black man in a Jewish neighborhood way back when.

Unfortunately, due to common misception---many people potreyed Jesus Christ as a pasty skinned, blue eyed effiminate man.
However, in the Bible, it was hard for the other people at that time to recognize him, they had to point him out before they nailed him to the stake. He looked like the other commoners.
He was a carpenter, so I am doubtful he was weak and pasty. He was also Jewish, so I would assume he had dark skin, dark hair. Carpenters at that time also did work with stones, so I would be inclined to believe he was quite strong. He looked like the people in the area he lived in, so I wouldn't believe he was blue eyed, blonde and pasty skinned.

For the same reason that Buddha is usually depicted with Oriental facial features in the Far East. People tend to represent religious figures as looking like themselves because it makes them easier to relate to. The images you're referring to were painted by Europeans, so they show a European Jesus. African artists often depict a Black Jesus.
In all probability, Jesus had dusky skin and brown eyes. Picture a Mediterranean Jew.

He was not white. He is from the Mid East.
They made him look like those who were to worship him.
Some countries do portray him with a darker complexion.
In Poland the have the Black Madonna.

I've never seen a blonde Jesus. I have seen the blue eyes occasionally.
Jesus was Jewish, so his features are likely to match an ethnic jew.
