I like popcorn as a midnight snack. Popcorn is as fattening as you want it to me, it's not too heavy on your tummy, and it provides a satisfying crunch.

My mother and grandmother swear by blending a banana in milk, honey, and ice cubes. The potassium in the banana helps your muscle tissue to regenerate while you sleep, the amino acids in the milk settle your tummy, and the honey provides you with some great vitamins that aide in cell regeneration.

Since your body does most of it's healing and growing while you're sleeping ideally you should eat something high in nutrients that won't sit real heavy on your tummy.

That would depend on whether you're going to brush your teeth before you go to bed.Or,if you're concerned about calories. If you're not going to brush your teeth, you need something without sugar, that won't stick to your teeth. The only thing I can think of would be dill pickles. They also have almost no calories. So they're pretty safe. The next best thing would be an apple. Not very filling, but I doubt you would have nightmares.Personally,I would opt for a big bowl of ice cream,or chips and salsa. But I have an iron stomach and brush my teeth a lot.
