The Liberals would head up north to Canada.
War is horrible but there are kids who have no choice about joining the military. But if the country was truly in danger i would gladly fight for it. It just can't be some war that has nothing to do with our countries safetly like Vietnam. I think any American should fight for this great country if it's in danger.

I already know what I would do. I lived the nightmare of the draft. ( Served 6 years in the military. 1969 to 1975 )

Drafted to attack some poor, innocent little country, who was a plaything of the corporate bully countries - yeah right. Bullsh*t.
If the conflict was us against america, however - watch me fight in the first line. I know I'd die, but I'd make sure I'd take a LOT with me.

I would take the next flight out of the country and take up residence in a country with a president that has both halves of his brain and they both function at least part of the time. Anything to get out of it. No way would I ever kill anyone for BUSH.

i wouldn't go even through i may go into the the airforce as an officer after college. I'm not dying for some dude to get rich off oil; thats what mersonaries are for not our tax dollars. . i'd go to afghanistan but not iraq..they are not or never were a treat to us

i would be come on lets go fight for this awesome country!! i would love to be drafted i love this country and i would die for it as many have died for us! i love war i would join the military in a heart beat but i have issues! lol well bring it on lets see if you trust me with a gun or anything that can make other things go BOOM!!!

I would be rather shocked. People my age are drafted only as a last resort. I was drafted once...got an "emergency" deferment to finish a little more college...then joined...WHEN I DIE I'M SURE TO GO TO HEAVEN, BECAUSE I SPENT MY TIME IN HELL ... I would scream and squeal out of exiticiment. I want to be in military so badly because so many of my friends are in the military and I hate the fact that I cannot be with them :-(
