when you get a little older and can't do kegstands at college parties or clubs anymore? Looking for specific places, as opposed to general ideas.

try taking up a sport, going to restaurants, hiking, online dating isn't too bad... i hear lavalife is a good one, having a bbq at home and ask your friends to bring single friends... i definetly know how you feel cause i don't do bars anymore and its hard meeting people, try community events as well.. i hope this helps.. ;)

Your problem with meeting women is revealed by the way you ask the question. You want specific places to meet high quality women, where the most effective answer is a general idea.
There is a specific place to meet women. There are certain clubs where professional people go to have a drink after work. That's where you want to go. There are also upscale clubs (I don't mean a dance club here...I mean an expensive, club you become a member of) where hot women hang out looking for high quality men.
But, to tell you the truth, the most effective way to meet women is informally. Anywhere you go, you typically bump into several women who want you and in your ignorance, let them walk on bye. Instead, you should get in the habit of approaching women you like anywhere and everywhere you go. The same hot woman that won't give you the time of day when she's at a dance club with her friends will happily be your girlfriend for life if you approach her in the frozen food section of the grocery store.
There is, of course, more to it than that. But making this change in your thinking is a big part of figuring this out.

it really depends on what kind of women you want to meet. Do they have singles night anywhere near you-- say at a bowling alley or something like that? Go to the beach with some friends, play some game, like frisbee, and "accidentally" throw it at some cute girls. Ask your friends if they know of anyone that might be good for you. I see more successful relationships come from friends setting other friends up with each other.
on another note, where's the best place to meet men??? (there's always two sides to the story)
oooh, scratch that. Community education classes, like pottery or something like that, those would be GREAT places to meet women!

It depends on if you like kids or not. A lot of desperate single moms hang out at parks. Or if you're not into the dirty diapers and snotty noses you could try those singles dances! Check the newspapers, they are always advertising those monthly singles dances where you have to pay $50-$100 just to get in!

Bars clubs parties through friends. Go out more socialize. The more you do the more chances of meeting women you have.

Social clubs for your interests eg book club, dining club, film club (pick one which women will join in droves, not sport or cars).
Study groups - learn a language or sign up for gourmet cooking.
The gym.
Dancing lessons.
Dinner parties, cocktail parties.
Supermarket - apparently Thursday is date night, and you put a bag of bananas in your trolley to show you're single. Sounds barmy, but it might work.
Through your place of employment - it's where most people meet their partner.

Volunteer to do something that you would like. More than likely you will meet some nice women there. The grocery store. Church can be a good place as well. You could also take up knitting.....meet women at yarn store. Good luck!!

In classes and fun courses. But you gotta be interested in what you're learning too, because otherwise you'll look like a loser. Pick up a community guide that lists workshops, etc. If you don't meet someone at least you'll be occupying yourself and improving yourself (which is very sexy).

once you get to that age do you really want to met the girls that do keg stands at college and if your looking to meet someone nice be brave next time you are out shopping or what ever just say hi to someone be yourself and be friendly you'll be surprised how many people are in the same way at the moment lol sunshine
