As a Christian I believe in both. But what do you think?

Well, I don't really believe in either as a place you can physically occupy. I see them as symbology only. Hell represents two possible states of mind depending on if you choose the left- or right-hand path. To the lefty, Hell is basicly an amusement park experience or the adrenaline rush durring... say a boxing match. To the righty, Hell is as Christianity preaches, a state of guilt. Same as Heaven. To the righty, Heaven is perfect balance and peace. To the lefty, Heaven is like a school lecture on something you have no interest in.
But you didn't really want me to go on about my phylosophies, did you? No, you just waned to hear some hypothetical answers.
If Heaven and Hell exist, I'm probably going to Heaven smelling of Hell. Basicly, I do a lot of things religion calls taboo, but when it comes right down to it I'm a decent guy why never willingly hurt someone.

If you believe in Heaven and Hell then don't use "Lets say". Bcs. It is true that Heaven and Hell are real places where every person will reach as per his doing in this earth.i.e. A believers, good, honest, etc. all will reach to heaven and all sinners will be to Hell for forever.
One more thing i would like to clear that all Muslims will go to Heaven but after treated from their sin. No any muslim will be a member of Hell.
And I will be going to Heaven, by grace of God.

Okay, well to start off I will inform you I am an atheist so do not believe in heaven and hell.
But just for now I will say where I think I am going, according to Christianity.
HELL!!! Only because I have not accepted God into my heart and will never.
However, if I was a murderer, rapist and thief BUT accepted God then I would go to heaven.
Now can you see why I am not a christian?
Partly lack of faith, partly because I do not want to go to heaven if all those fuckers are there.
If God and Christianity are real...well I hope that it is untrue that murderers and alike may enter into heaven else it is a sick religion!

I'm a Christian and I know I'm going to Heaven because I have repented of my sins and accepted Jesus as Lord of my life. I do believe in Hell, as a place of eternal separation from God.

Your question reminded of a myth that I read many years ago (non christian) that told of a passage to the promise land. At the begining of the journey you are given a sack and the sack is filled with the sexual organs of all of your partners in your life time. You must carry this sack across a long path. If you were a 'saint' your load was light, etc. At the end of this path and then you were in the promise land, there was a tree laden with fruit, but this fruit was out of your reach. Your family and loved ones would be there and with the contents of your bag, you had to toss the sexual organs into the tree to knock down the fruit. If your bag was heavy ( a burden to carry) along the path it meant that you had more fruit retrieving ability and more would be fed, etc.

Have you ever caught a fish on a line, pulled it out of the water, and ripped the hook from its lips? Then put it in a tiny cooler of warm water with five other fish, for three hours, to breathe itself almost dead. Then flop it out and shave its scales off while it's still conscious, and finally filet the meat parts out to put in your bellies?
Does the fish feel ANY of that pain?
Do you think Hell is worse? I do too.
It sucks when you know too much, but it's all that can save us.
We can talk about heaven tomorrow. . .Class dismissed!!!

well i hope to go to heaven but only god knows were i will go
whoever wants to seriously go to hell will go there coz they deserve it and when they get there they wont be going back.
but i only hope people will change their attitude coz hell is hell and beleive me living 4 the rest of eternity in the company of the devil is not a comforting thought.
well, as 4 how we r going to go 2 heaven or hell only god knows that.
i say this as a 13-year-old muslim

If you lead your life as God instructs by following the commandments and repenting and seeking forgiveness and turn from sin God has promised eternal life in heaven with Him. If you lead your life not following God and you sin and do not repent you will sends yourself to hell. As to how we get to heaven or hell, I assume it will be like in the movie "GHOST" heaven the golden light, and hell the dark creepy things come and get you
