I wouldn't eat it. But I don't think it is harmful unless you're allergic to mold.

I have read that most bread mold strains are not harmful to consume. Nor are many cheese mold strains. Bleu cheese is really just moldy cheese. The mold gives it that distinct flavor. I personally don't care for moldy food, and would err on the side of safety when considering its consumption, as mold can be extremely dangerous. Besides, bread is so cheap; just buy a new loaf!

penicillin is a mold, so some molds are actually helpful. Some can kill you as in toxic mold formed by damp surfaces in walls abehind tubs and sinks. Mold on bread, the regular green kind that develops from stale bread is not dangerous, but could give you a stomachache and make you vomit if you ate a loaf of it. Hope that helps.

mold from bread is safe to eat, you can make penicilin out of it. all you do is get a test tube and put the mold in it then get some duct tape and tape the tube to a fan and turn it on and let it spin for a long time untill the solids seperate from the liquids. the liquid is the penicilin

the mildew on the bread isn't healthful, subsequently you're best eliminating that, although in my opinion i doesn't contact moldy bread. Stale bread is the finest, it is also good for croutons.

No. Most strains of mold contain substances that are toxic to the body. If you just eat a little bit it probably won't be terribly harmful but don't eat a whole loaf that's for sure!
