They should be treated like a sex offender.

In other words EXTREME CAUTION.

Alert all of your neighbors.

Pray for his children.

Keep your eyes open and your mind aware.

I understand your point. Whitaker should never have been charged and convicted. Some one having sex with their boyfriend is not a sex offender. I wonder what percentage of sex offenders falls into the category of consensual sex between teens, though? By and large, sex offenders are people who have abused, molested, raped some one. I think the term "sex offender" needs to be redefined legally. There's a big difference between a little hanky panky after the prom and raping and molesting a child.

As for your average run-of-the-mill child molester or rapist? I have checked the offender registry and I know where the nearest offenders are to me. I wouldn't want one living next door. If one did, I would do whatever it took to legally have them removed.

If they have their own children living with them, it is probably better to have a talk with his or her parole or probation officer, but there is a big problem with running off half ****** ready to scare the neighborhood.

It depends on the nature of the sex offense. You would have to review the court records and come to your own conclusions.

I personally would be on the phone with his parole or probation officer and find out what he did time for. They won't tell you everything you want to know, but they will listen to your concerns.

Shouldn't matter where they live.
It does matter what they did.
Pedophiles should be outed and persecuted by their neighbours.
Rapists should be outed and persecuted by their neighbours.
I have children and if either of these were my neighbour I would drive them away and solicit as much help from my community as possible. I would use the press and destroy their lives. They've earned no less through their actions.
