Check the temp and humidity in your fridge.Temp should be 37 most fridges have a place to adjust the humidity you might also want to check and make sure the seal is nice and tight when you close the door. When you buy lettuce wash it as soon as you get home then put it in a salad spinner (costly but worth it) then wrap in paper towels and use within a couple of days.Since you have said it happens when you bring home made salad, is why I think it is your fridge.Good luck to you.

Put paper towel over it, but use an airtight container found at most stores, see if this works, also put tomatoes and cucumber in other container until ready to eat, same with any side dressing.

i would just suggesting keeping the salad completely sealed off from the air (perhaps some good tupperware, or even a bowl with saran wrap). If air can get at it, then condensation from water vapors in the air can get to your lettuce.

make sure you keep the salad in the crisper and away from the sides of the fridge..you might also try keeping a piece of bread inside the bag/bowl to absorb the moisture

The best thing to do is buy a salad spinner, it gets your salad dry and then you can use it to store your salad in.

Make sure your lettuce is completely dry, then coat it lightly with the oil of your choice before adding any other dressing.
