It depends on your level of fitness. If you are starting out, try 30 minutes every other day. as you become more fit you can increase your schedule to your liking.

It really depends on your level of fitness but the general rule is 30 minutes a day. Often people find it hard to get in a continuous stream of exercise for 30 minutes either because it is physically demanding or one simply does not have the time. If that's the case, exercising in three 10mintute intervals throughout the day is a great way to get your workout in and it isn't any less effective than the full on 30minutes. Remember to get in a balance of cardio, stretching, and weights exercises. Good Luck!

The length of your daily exercise routine has a lot of factors to consider. Not only what you'll be doing in that time, be it free weights or Pilate's, but your body type. If you are on the shorter side you need to work your lower half a lot, or time will cause cellulite on the back of your thighs (not pretty). Other factors are your age, which determines how fast your metabolism is working, and what exactly you eat if it's pretty much healthy- good, if you eat junk then you have a lot of work ahead. If you have a high stress work environment working out relieves your body from stress hormones which will cause complications towards middle age. If this is your first time with a daily exercise routine I suggest 20-30 minutes. Hope this was some help. . .

i agree with the others that the time spent on exercise depends on your stamina and slowly build up your stamina (therefore increasing the time spent). However, i don't agree that exercise does not keep you fit. i think that exercise and having a healthy diet work together to keep fit. i suggest 30 to 90 minutes per day depends on your stamina and the exercise you should go on is of high intensity. hope it helps.

Dear ,
It is not the exercises that keeps you fit, its actually a healthy diet that keeps your fit ,
its up to you how much time you can give yourself and what i personally believe that a hour a day of exercise and no bad habits will keep you fit if that is what you are looking for.
thankx & regards
