you need to see a doctor-no way around this
pls DO NOT stick ANYTHING inside your ear...you already have an infection in there and adding any type of fluid or foreign object to it can make the infection worse causing further damage. infections thrive in warm, moist areas and if you stick fluid such as peroxide, water or anything else in it-the moisture increases allowing the infection to spread
you take ibuprofen for the pain until you are able to get in to see the doctor. ibuprofen has an anti-inflammatory in it to also help reduce swelling that comes along with infection. take 200-400mg every 6 hours but do not exceed more than 1200mg in 24 hours. you can also try a heating pad wrapped in a small towel-do not apply the heating pad directly to your ear-this can cause burns to your skin if you fall asleep with it still on.
the doctor will prescribe you oral antibiotics to get rid of the infection-take all of the pills b/c if you don't-in the future your body could become resistant to the medication causing it not to be effective against future infections that occur
hope you feel better soon

Pouring peroxide in your ear is a good step, for now, but you really need to see a doctor.
When I was in High School I had this ungodly pain in my ear. By the time I convinced my mom that it was serious, and got to a doctor I had a DOUBLE ear infection. I was treated with antibiotics and had to stick drops in my ear every 4 hours for days. I never want that to happen again. I tend to build up a lot of ear wax so I use ear drops to dissolve the ear wax and drain it.
When I was a kid I got a lot of cases of "swimmer's ear," an infection caused by water getting trapped in the ear canal. A bottle cap (1-2 ounces) of Rubbing Alcohol in each ear after swimming stopped that problem.
I hope you get to the doctor before something bad happens; like the infection passing into your brain, or causing enough swelling to pop your ear drum. Sounds ghastly doesn't it, well get to a doctor so it won't turn out to be YOU!

Most ear infections are viral, which antibiotics won't help anyways, but if the doctor thinks it's bacterial he can give you a script for those. Also, Motrin for the ache- 800 mg every 6 hours is a high adult dose- it works. Cool packs or warm packs will work too, whatever feels better.

depends on the infection
if u think its swimmers ear which is commom in summer rubbing alcohol will do the trick(thats what the medacine is)
if your ear hurts u can warm a spoonful of ovlie oil on a spoon for a second or 2 on the stove dip a q tip in it and put it in your ear(thats sweet oil) make sure to touch first so its not too hot
some home remedies r have someone blow cig smoke into your ear i know sounds gross but works or sleep on a cut in half potatoe
good luck hope u feel better

See a doctor. If it's an infection, then you'll need antibiotics for it. If you let it go, you can lose your hearing.

Sounds like you need to see a doctor. Also you may want to do a web search on colloidal silver, that has worked wonders for me and others I know and it doesn't lead to hearing loss like some other antibiotics...particularly those whose names end in mycin...Clint
