I actually help people with this all the time. It is the most common goal of people to lose 10 pounds. This has worked for many, and it should for you as well. The first step is to drink an ounce of water per body weight, at the start of this. While most people eat 3 meals a day, normally between 400-700 calories each. This does not allow the metabolism to work enough to burn those calories without a lot of exersize. Many people do not have the drive nor the time to excersize as long as it takes to burn these calories. So to keep your metabolism running, step 2 of this is to eat 6 smaller sized meals per day. If you eat nutrition bars or protein bars, 2 is considered a meal, while one is a snack. So, you don't have to eat 6 "half-meals", in the sense of a half plate, or half of whatever you normally eat. It is a chance to have new things enter your body. It is suggested to eat 2 protein or nutrition bars a day, plus to take a multivitamin. Drinking more water will fight that hunger feeling, while eating smaller meals combined with more water will give you more energy, weight will come off, and your stomach will not feel like it has to be fed 1000 calories to be full. Excersize is also helpful. When you eat like that, you can actually burn up to 90% of the calories that you just ate by the time your food is digested. Ok this is what you need to do:-
-Not eating chiken and red meat in 4 weeks
-Exercise. push up 15x, sit up 15x, squat 15x, shadow boxing (It's like punching a ghost) 10 minutes. Do all this simple exercise 2x a day. Joging twice a week. This is a part of Bruce Lee routine exercise. If you got a AB Shaper or a Ab King Pro, thats really help too.
But the most important thing is
YOU MUST HAVE A STRONG WILL AND DISCIPLINE to do this.

Try the south beach diet. The book isn't expensive. For the first 2 weeks no fruit or breads/grains. Lots of low-fat protein and veggies. Then add back some whole grains after that. It's a GREAT diet. I lost almost 10 in 2 weeks.

Losing that much in 4 weeks is difficult to do in a healthy manner. And if you do attempt it, it will require much physical activity. However, try eating more meals a day (5 or 6)...they must all be very healthy, and all small portion sized so you do not eat more than you would if you stick with the 3 meals a day routine. That will boost your metabolism(may take up to 6 weeks) which in turn causes your body to burn fat faster.

Burn more calories than you take in. 10 pounds is a little much to expect, (average is only 2 lbs a week), but you can do it. Cut out all Sugars and Starches. Make sure to walk every day. The more active that you are, the faster you will lose the weight.

Drink 8 cups of water a day and eat one meal once a day. By one meal I mean one thing. Not like chicken, corn, biscut, and mashed potatoes. I mean just the chicken with water! Don't drink milk, Kerns, or V8, and if you want to drink milk buy Nesquik Fat Free milk, not reduced fat. V8 okay maybe not that bad and Kerns. I'm in a diet to I'm just eating once a day with only water. I lost 24 pounds in 4 weeks don't listen to these people putting you down oh yeah and walk daily at least 10 minutes. Good luck g.

Here was this really fat guy that wanted to lose weight but no matter what diet he tried, nothing worked. Well one day, as he was reading the paper, he saw an advertise that said LOSE AS MUCH WEIGHT AS YOU WANT FOR ONLY $1 A POUND.
He gets excited and calls the number provided and tells them he wants to lose 10 pound. Well they tell him that they will send a representitive over to his house the next morning.
The next morning the door bell rings and he opens the door to find a really hot blonde with a sign on her chest - "If you catch me you can have sex with me"- and the blonde runs off. The fat guy started chasing her, and after a while he caught her and they had sex. After she left, he checked his wieght and saw that he lost the 10 pound!
So the next day he calls and says he wants to lose 20 pound. Same thing happens. He chases the hot blonde, catches her and in the processes loses 20 pound. Well he decides that the 30 pound he lost so far are not enough so he calls them and tells them that he wants to lose 50 pound.
The person on the other line asks him "Sir are you sure? That's too much weight to be lost all at once!" and he replies "Hell ya im sure" So they say that they will send a representitive over to his house the next morning.
The next morning he wakes up to the ringing door bell. Excited about losing more wieght and screwing a hot chick, he jumps out of the bed, opens the door and finds himself face to face with a HUGE gorilla. And the gorilla has a sign on its chest. "If i catch you, i'll f*ck the s**t out of you!"

Count the food you eat in a week [overweight people can go around 45 kg], drop the junk food [sugary, fried, cookies, bread], cut the rest in half. Eat loads of fish, red meat, vegetables [loads of salads], exercise a lot, drink a lot [WATER]. Depending on your weight, 5 kg in 4 weeks is not too much, although you should ask your GP about that. It's easy to lose weight, not so easy to keep it down.

Reduce your caloric intake to 1000 calories a day and be sure to take multivitamins if you do, if you reduce your calloric intake to below 1200-1500 calories there can be nutrional problems. Also, drink plenty of water, always drink plernty of water when trying to lose weight.
Remember, its not what we eat that causes us to become overweight or obese its how much we eat, consuming to many calories. Now that does not go without saying, that you do not need to stop eating or limit your eating to 1 meal a day to reduce caloric intake -- it actually slows down your metabolism if you do.
