lol, if your talking about that prison stuff - that definitely wasn't rape. That was simply physical abuse towards prisoners, a lot more quarter than is given to those that attempt to use public transportation in israel and arrive to find that a man with a bomb on his chest wants to blow the crap out of the bus for Allah.
The United States Army did not have any serious, or even large scale existing rape cases, and won't because the army is held accountable by the government, the media, and the UN (as sad as that is).
My personal opinion is that when you are a terrorist, you have the right to NEVER BE TORTURED but being physically injured (bruising, scrapes, etc.) aren't anywhere near rape. Giving people these minor little boo boos while they are naked is hardly any cause to start yelling rape - only the time for those involved to be disciplined so that prisoners are treated properly.

There are morons in every army. This guy was insane and got kicked out and then seems to have done this horrible act. It would be nice to do a psych test on everyone before they enter service but no country does this.

What the soldiers did"if they truly did it" has brought shame to the US,but in reality, they are in a war zone.And do you honestly think those that are guilty of beheading and torturing our soldiers are any better?Maybe the soldiers broke down under the pressures of knowing at any given moment it might be their head that gets chopped off. I can't understand how,when an iraqi beheads one of ours hardly any media coverage at all,but if our soldiers do something it is all that is talked about!

Not everyone in the Army is like that you moron.
Google PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) this is what our soldiers are dealing with now.

i thnk the situation has just gotten to them
constantly living in a high stressful environment, and seeing friends die would cause them to have very hostile feelings towards the native population, its a rash but unavoiable generalisation that the troops would have towards the local inhabitants
same thing that happened with the massacre in My Lai in vietnam

I totally disagree that this is happening, but it has been happening since WWI. Maybe not to the same degree, but if you will find someone that was in Vietnam, they will tell you the same horror stories, maybe some even worse.

there are twisted people in every group or organization of people throughout the world. no matter how noble or good a group or organization is, it's members are still human and therefore prone to make mistakes.

Can't believe all you see on TV.
Media is designed to feed you want they want you to know, not the real truth.
These men have not been brought before a judge nor court nor tried for such crimes. To believe they happened prior to judgement is wrong.
