It will probably sound like a miracle cure or something crazy like that but the best cure for a hangover is not to get one. If you do though my husband likes a big bowl of menudo to help clear him up. But there are also several pills or tablets on the market that you can buy that you take while you are drinking or before it and they claim to prevent the hangover. The names I can think of off the top of my head are Chaser and Pharb. Around where I am you can buy them in almost any convenience or drug store.

To rehydrate and replenish my system I drink two Berry Flavored Propels when I wake up. I replenish the salts, vitamins and water that the alcohol flushed out. Alcohol is a diuretic. Many will tell you to take a Tylenol or aspirin. Don't!!!! Those two when taken with alcohol are very rough on the stomach and liver. Take an ibuprofen (ie: Motrin) because it is much more gentle than those two. Drink plenty of water and before drinking eat some greasy food. The greasy food is thought to line a protective coating on the stomach.

Like one of the other people said, hangovers are primarily from dehyrdation. Alcohol dries out your body so you need to replenish it with water to avoid getting a headache and the general nastiness feeling. For me personally, if I can remember before going to bed, I drink one full glass of water and pop a motrin or tylenol (not sure if this is good to do all the time, but it works...). I wake up feeling totally fine. Also, eating something strachy after a heavy night of drinking seems to minimize hangovers, like rice, pasta ,or bread.....seems to soak up the alcohol in my stomach.

Warm beer the morning after and lots of water. Your body reacts with a hangover when the booze leaves your system. The beer will slowly adjust your body back to alcohol.

Eat! Highlight that one.
Of course, make sure you drink a lot of water (gator aid is very good for it too....better than water). Eating is the main thing though.
The best preventative is to drink a lot of water before you go to bed after a long night of drinking. it helps a lot
