Anyone use Blackstrap Molasses in their coffee?

Is it as good tasting as normal sugar? Is it way sweeter than sugar? What about Stevia? Which alternative to chemical sweeteners and sugar do you prefer?

I don't drink coffee but I do drink a cup of Blackstrap Molasses. It is sweeter than sugar. I use three large tablespoon in a mug with hot water. It was something my grandmother used to give me as a child because I needed more iron. I now give this to my grandchildren. Never thought about using it in coffee. I will serve it to my friends when they come over. Thank you for the idea.

It is not only an excellent source of iron, but potassium, magnesium and many vitamins. I use it along with a natural cane extract instead of commercial granualated sugar, antoher nice product is Muscavado sugar, it is a raw sugar with molasses still in it, I get it here inCanada,it is depp brown and when you open it you can smell the molasses.

I don't use molasses but I use Stevia everyday for my iced tea, smoothies, and everything else I want sweetened. It does have a slight aftertaste but it's way better than the other cancer causing causing sweeteners like sweet n low and equal.

Yes I drink my coffee with Molasses... Sometimes I put a little honey in it or even sugar.
